8pp, 12 x 17 in. Illustrated color Sunday newspaper supplement containing a dramatic full page color engraving of the lynching of 9 African Americans in the Southern United States. Six men are shown as already having been lynched while 3 terrified men are shown being roughly led by a white mob to their deaths. Caption below the illustration reads: "Aux États-unis / La foule lynchant des nègres accusés d'assassinat sur une femme blanche" (In the United States / The mob lynching blacks accused of murdering a white woman."

An international perspective of the lynching of African Americans by white Southerners during the era of Jim Crow racial segregation.
